Association of Marlboro Parents (AMP) News

Special Education Meeting:  On June 5th from 6:30-7:30, we will be discussing proposed changes to special education funding in Vermont.  Stephanie Betit-Hancock, WCSU’s Director of Special Education, will be joining us to explain the latest funding changes and phase-in timelines.  I will discuss what impacts these changes will make for our School Community.

Sports Programs:  On June 14th, we would like to hold an open discussion on our athletic programs.  Some ideas that have already been shared are more practices for after school sports with regularly scheduled games and a disc golf course.  We would love to hear your ideas and opinions.

AMP is sponsoring a Teacher Appreciation Week during the week of May 29 (Tuesday) through June 1 (Friday). Please volunteer to bring a snack, part of the Friday meal, and/or volunteer to take over classes during lunch while the teachers eat together on Friday.  Signups can be made through this link: https://perfectpotluck.com/meals.php?t=AXEV4713&v=a82c28d4ae.
