The Marlboro Alliance provides support for many community activities. At the Fair they paid the entrance fee for 24 Marlboro students who worked or exhibited at the Fair. Thank you, Alliance!
P&F (Parents and Friends) met on Tuesday. Gretchen Webber volunteered to continue as chair and Suzanne Whitehouse will serve as Secretary. Thank you, Gretchen and Suzanne. There are several positions that need to be filled. If you are interested in serving as Co-Chair (a new position!) or Treasurer, please let me know. Suzanne has set up an information center for all things P&F. Just paste the following into your browser and check it out! We hope this will help you to stay up to date on P&F activities. https://goo.gl/I6WeQh
Conferences for Kindergarten, North EL, and South EL will be held on Friday, October 21. Look for information in your child’s classroom newsletter. Fall conferences are a wonderful time for you and your child’s teacher to exchange information. Everyone has an opportunity to learn and the result is strong support for your child. Let’s have 100% participation!
On Monday, October 24 I will host another time with parents for conversation and coffee. Please join us if you can.
We’re all looking forward to the three day weekend. Please support the Junior High Cider Sale as they raise funds for field research in Costa Rica next spring. They will be set up in the field across from South Road. In addition to buying apple pies, cheese, and cider, you can also watch the cider being pressed. It’s quite a process!
